okay, for some of you people who still don't know what time to go to school tomorrow, here i am concerned about you guys. that was a lie. i don't really care since we're going to be in different classes from then on for some of us. anyway, i know some of you don't know when to go or something, i don't know. i told laura since so many people asked her and she didn't know too. i guess those people would have known by now. heh. ok, so it's on a tuesday, that's tomorrow. the place you have to go to is open from 9am- 3pm. if i'm giving you the wrong information, ho hum, i have no idea about it. so it's up to you to decide if its 9pm- 3am or on another day.

we have successfully gone through 1 school year's worth of...school doings.. hees. anyway, hope all of us get good marks and go into the same class next year! wouldn't it just be delightful?

yea right. what i meant to say was.. hope we would get split up into different classes so we wont get so much punishment next year. isn't that better?

For some of you people who aren't updated, be updated and go see the school's website for the exam formats.

One more thing, even though the exam format stuff and all for Science tells you the topics to study, peace be upon us/you. We've to study MORE than that. So it's just leaving out Chapters 4, 5, 11, and the final chapter, 16, which, for some reason, seems interesting. Anyway, for those of you people who don't even give a damn about all these stuff, forget what I've said.

Please, do not, do not forget that you'd have to hand up your English Assignments, and for those *ahem* unfortunate people who has to present their "object" to the class as part of the Oral Task, remember your lines, don't stand there and say, "Oh crap".

1A, I would like you to know that the highest for 1E for CA2 is 82.5% and L1R5 of 6 points. You see how good and how much 1E has improved! So, I would now like 1A to know a few rules that I would make clear today and not repeat again -

RULES OF SECONDARY 1 EXPRESS (A):
1 - Please do not disrupt lessons any o how.
2 - Please pay attention during classes.
3 - Please do all homework assigned.
4 - Please do not get addicted to online games. (Try not to)
5 - Please do not do any nosensical stuff in class or at home to distract yourself.

I really hope this would happen so that 1A will do a lot better for the EOYs and all go 2 Express happily and successfuly. This is your only saving grace so please buck up, pull up your socks or whatever positive stuff. Kays 1A? Can promise me tat??

Ok... here's a suggestion for our blog which I think is quite okay.

Well, one of our classmates said we should have that YouTube video thing. So now, every week we're going to find videos, with the help of some people, to post it up here. I have no time to go find the videos. If you have any, send the link through MSN, and we'll post it up here.

Right, I sound very odd now, or "extra". Anyway, Term 4's going to start tomorrow (I know you know. Heh.) so you guys, can we all be a little more serious than before, but after the exams you people can do any damn thing you want. Be it study for the more *ahem* knowledge-filled/intellectual types, or just watch ... eh never mind, rather not say, though you people know what I'm taking about already.

2) Life Accents Reading Comprehension Skills (LARCS) - Please complete pages
60-65 ONLY the compre sections.
3) Web-Quest - Let me repeat this. Firstly, go to the bds website n download
the instructions. Then, after doing all the TEDIOUS stuff, begin to write your
Singapore short story. A little reminder. Please do not hand up
NONSENSICAL, UNREALISTIC AND INMATURE WORK. Do I make myself
very clear?

Seems that some people don't really understand the homework because of my seemingly bad sounding language. Sorry, but honestly, you people already have the homework paper thing. So, heh, I really don't get why you people are still clueless.

Anyway anyway, firstly, you have to complete your Writing Accents Comprehension Book( please get this right, and don't go saying you don't understand again) starting from page 60-65. On the first page( page 60) there's this little activity at the top. DO NOT DO IT. We just have to do the comprehension passage. I hope that this is pretty clear now. Oh, and WRITE ALL YOUR ANSWERS( right or wrong) ON FOOLSCAP PAPER.
Next thing, ENGLISH WEBQUEST (I know you people are waiting for this.) Please, GO AND CHECK OUT THE SCHOOL WEBSITE. I know the Parent's Link isn't exactly made for us to go check, it's for our parents, BUT, I guess the school knows we people are doing the checking, not our parents. So just go check it out, ok? ... I know you won't, somehow. Anyway, here it is. You, yes, YOU, have to write a Singapore Short Story ON YOUR OWN. Not by your pets, it's evil. Submit in a FOLDER or a PORTFOLIO. Like what Laura said, your folder or portfolio should be an A4 or A3 sized one.
For Oral Task. I won't tell you guys. It's too long, ok? Go read the paper. I mean what do you expect from such a person? Heh. Go figure out the Oral Task yourselves.

Anyway, here's an update on what's happening to this blog. To the 1A people who regulates this already-disinfected-but-unfortunately-infected-again blog, please read this very post.

The colour scheme for this blog is going to CHANGE into a better scheme o' colours. Thank god for editable htmls.
Tagboard's colours are going to change too due to some people who are *ahem* sensitive to such choice of colours, and some guys might actually think it's gayish or show too much girl elements. Holy mother of... what am I saying...
Ok, never mind that. Now for the next thingo. We are going to change the class banner, and the not-in-picture-laura-wong-su-hsuen person (yes, laura, it's you) is going have her neoprint picture in the banner. We're thinking of changing the banner thingamabob which currently houses people in uniform. We don't really want that. We want it to be LESS formal.
So, yeah, BIG changes.

Ok. For some people who started to flip through their file and said, "Crap. I lost the homework task paper. Eh, what the heck, no point in doing it anyway." DO NOT IGNORE THIS DAMN POST. We don't want to be responsible for sabotaging people. (that was all crap. ignore it.)

Anyway, here's the homework. I have no idea whether people taking Malay have any homework at all.
Oh well, here's the homework.
ENGLISH
1. EL Webquest- Write Here! --- Ok, here's what I have to say for this. If you have anything to ask about this, too bad. You should have asked Mdm Yasmin before the holidays. Write a Singapore Short Story, submitting it in a folder/portfolio on the Writing process. I have no idea why I keep saying all this.
2. COMPREHENSION PASSAGE. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS. Write all your answers on FOOLSCAP PAPER. For this, the passage is from your Life Accents Reading Compre. Skills book, pg 60-65. Please don't go flipping through your Writing Skills book and tell the teacher when you're back at school, "Writing Skills book page 60 to 65 I don't understand." For if you say that, peace be upon you.
3. Complete ALL your 6 book tasks. You know what I mean. It's a freaking 15% of your CA2 for English, so don't treat this as crap. Please submit it by 22nd SEPTEMBER. Not October... or November... or worse, December.
4. Last part of the English section. Prepare your Oral Task for this so- called SOAR programme which won't make you soar if you don't do it. 20% of your CA2 English. The Oral Task consists of 2 tasks. One's a 2 minute RECORDING of a short story/ excerpt of a passge/ news article and whatsoever. Please, I beg you. Make your recording in mp3. or wav. format. The second's a Show and Tell Presentation in CLASS. It should be about 4 seemingly-long-and-unfortunately-agonizing minutes. You can present about different stuff. Eg, your favourite TV shows or boring old sports interest that people won't care to listen to you about.

Ok, that was long. Now, for CHINESE.
There's two notes a.k.a worksheets we have to complete. Refer to your Chinese textbooks, Chapter 25 and 26. And, please, stop giving stupid excuses that you have a pet shark named Sharky in your 20 feet long fish tank and because of your 70 year old turtle who took the notes away and dived into the tank, sadly being eaten up by Sharky in the process of you trying to save your turtle instead of your notes. Ms Poh WOULDN'T CARE.

Anyway, back to the safer side. Please study for your End Of Year Exams and try your best to stay in the Express Stream. Even if you study for 1o seconds everyday, I don't care. Just study.
